Are you a Preschool or a Childcare?
We offer both programs, preschool & childcare. Children can do just preschool, just childcare, or both.
- Preschool hours are 9-11:45 am
- Pre-K hours are 8:30-11:30 am
- Childcare is open from 6:30-6 pm
Will you be participating in GSRP (free preschool)?
At this time, we do not foresee offering GSRP. We do not feel that it aligns with our program philosophy and beliefs. We highly value our curriculum and Jesus time, which would not be permitted in GSRP.
What sets Immanuel apart from other private preschools?
Because we are not part of GSRP, we can set our own curriculum, which we adapt to meet our studentâs developmental needs and interests.
Our character education has no greater lesson book... the Bible. We also pride ourselves on teaching independence. We have high expectations for our students. They learn independence through guided practice and repetition.
Do children get time to participate in gross motor activities?
YES!
We have a full-size gym and a fenced-in playground with poured-in-place surfacing. As experienced teachers and moms, we understand that young children need time and the freedom to move their bodies and participate in unstructured outdoor play.

How do you keep children safe?
Immanuel is a state-licensed program, we receive licensing inspections as well as fire inspections. Our staff completes two separate background checks.
Our building is secure, all entry doors are locked during childcare hours. Staff and childcare families receive key fobs to enter the building. Visitors must be buzzed in by the office staff.

Is Immanuelâs preschool play based?
90% of a typical preschool day is play-based. We have a short whole-group instruction period to teach letters, numbers, shapes, etc.
A normal day includes calendar, story time, Jesus time, whole group instruction, music & movement, play & fun âlearningâ centers, and gross motor time in the gym or outside.

Does Immanuel offer field trips?
Yes! We have 3 field trips each school year.
We also have holiday parties and an annual family night. The kids are invited to sing at Immanuelâs church service twice a year.
