Jesus spent three years disciplining the Disciples, and Immanuel disciples its Confirmation Students for three years.

In Sixth-Grade Confirmation Class, your child will follow the salvation story and “walk through the Bible.” Your child will learn about our Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and how He worked through different Bible characters to accomplish His Plan.
In Seventh and Eighth Grade Confirmation, your child will continue to learn about the Lutheran Christian Faith and its doctrine as taught in Luther’s Small Catechism. Your child will continue to learn about the Triune God through the Bible.
In both classes, we have designed an exciting and meaningful curriculum so your child can learn about God and grow in their Christian faith as a disciple of Jesus.

Class times:
Classes are every Wednesday from September 11 through April 23, 2025. Note: Class will not be held on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Break, or Spring Break (following the East China Schools Schedule).

6th Grade: Wednesdays 4:00-5:15
7th & 8th Grades: Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 (During Advent and Lent, we will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)
